Today we'll focus on my man Kobra 5.13 who released the critically acclaimed "Apocalypse Now" (2006) and "Tu Peux Pas Test" (2008) albums! Besides that, Kobra 5.13 has blessed the mic alongside French and international Hip Hop heavyweights like Inspectah Deck (Wu-Tang Clan), Alibi Montana, K.Rhyme Le Roi and more. 06/10/11 – The Beginning: Knightstalker & Le First "Lost In Translation" EP + Video

The whole idea for the Mixtape series came when Knightstalker and Le First decided to record a Collabo EP together, combining their French and English raps. Impressed by the sensational feedback, Knightstalker recruited DJ Easy, who’s also his live DJ, to mix the first volume. And the rest is history ;)

Knightstalker & DJ Easy pres. Lost In Translation Vol.1 (Mixtape) (Hosted by Le First)

Germany’s Knightstalker proudly presents the first volume of the “Lost In Translation” mixtape series. Following his 2010 collabo EP (together with Le First) by the same name, the Berlin rapper who spits strictly in English took the concept of presenting French underground hip hop in Germany and the USA to another level. The artists and songs on the tape have been chosen and collected by Knightstalker in conjunction with DJ Easy and of course, some of Knightstalker’s collabos with French MCs can also be heard on the tapes that are supposed to drop several times a year.
DJ Easy of Next Level Ent. and Coast2Coast DJs is the official DJ for the series and is therefore responsible for the mixing. He made a name for himself way beyond the German border through his own series of mixtapes (“Easy Listening” and “Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy”) as well as his artist tapes (Ali Vegas, K.Sparks, Rasheeda etc.).
The host on volume 1 is fittingly another Berlin/Germany representer: the French rapping Le First. Signed to Disstrict Music, the MC received nationwide attendance through his “Halt-die-Fresse” video clip on the infamous AggroTV YouTube channel. His debut album “Le Produit De Berlin” will be out by the summer of 2011.
